About Myself
Hello! I am a recent graduate from Florida International University. I received my Bachelor's in Elementary Education and Interdisciplinary Studies.
My teaching philosophy is based off of the quote "We are all in the same boat, but not the same storm." I carry this with me now as I strive to make sure I take into consideration every student and their background. I am here to educate and provide support but I know this is not a one-woman job. There are many stakeholders that take part in a student's educational journey (you being one of them!), so I work towards constant communication with my student and all of those involved in their success. I provide engaging and meaningful lessons that begin in my class but reach farther lengths beyond it.
My hobbies include reading, spending time with friends and family and my pets, enjoying nature at the beach and parks and of course, coming up with creative ideas that I can bring into my classroom for my students!
